Scope & clinical boundaries
Medical Disclaimer
Effective date: 20 October 2026 · Version 1.0
Please understand the difference between educational information, automated quiz guidance, a physician-signed assessment and an individual medical consultation.
This disclaimer applies to drgovindrathod.com and app.drgovindrathod.com, both operated by Dr. Govind Rathod. Individual services are for adults aged 18 years or older located in India.
1. Educational information
General website content, articles and explanatory materials are for education and awareness. Educational articles are reviewed by Dr. Govind Rathod, but they are not an individual diagnosis, prescription or treatment plan for every reader.
Reading an article or using the free quiz does not by itself create an individual physician consultation. Do not use general content to replace necessary medical assessment or delay care.
The website does not offer supplement recommendations, affiliate recommendations or third-party health tools. Links to related policies and service information do not change the clinical scope described here.
2. What each service means
| Service | Purpose and limits |
|---|---|
| Free quiz | General awareness and next-step guidance, generated automatically from your answers using a clinical rule set. No individual physician review is included. It is not a diagnosis or a validated prediction of disease probability. |
| ₹499 Health Assessment | Interpretation of available information and identification of priorities, with physician sign-off. Its scope is interpretation and priorities only; it does not include a treatment consultation, medication change or prescribing service. |
| Doctor Review | Individual physician interpretation, consultation and a personalised plan within the agreed scope. Medication advice or a prescription may be provided where clinically appropriate, after sufficient assessment and subject to professional requirements. |
Service scope and consultation arrangements are explained before commitment. Purchasing a service does not guarantee a particular diagnosis, medicine or prescription.
3. Existing treatment and medicines
Continue your existing prescribed treatment unless your treating physician advises a change. The free quiz and ₹499 Health Assessment do not instruct you to start, stop or change prescribed medicines.
During Doctor Review, Dr. Govind Rathod may advise on your existing medicines after appropriate clinical assessment. Follow the specific advice given for your case and clarify anything you do not understand.
A lifestyle coach cannot independently prescribe medicines or change your treatment. Medication questions must be referred to the doctor. Do not treat general educational or coaching suggestions as prescription instructions.
4. Remote consultations and examination
Consultations may use video, phone or written review, depending on the service and the clinical situation. The appropriate format is discussed with the doctor.
Remote care has limits: a physical examination or additional information may be needed before a reliable clinical decision can be made. Dr. Govind Rathod determines whether remote review is suitable and may recommend an in-person examination, additional evaluation or referral.
Where an in-person consultation is appropriate, the arrangements can be discussed mutually. If an examination is necessary for safe care, remote review cannot replace it simply because the patient prefers to continue remotely.
Technical interruptions or incomplete information may require rescheduling or a different consultation route. Any resulting service arrangements are discussed under the relevant policies.
5. Inputs, results and uncertainty
The quiz requires answers to all 12 questions before completion. Answering every required question does not mean that every health domain has been assessed or that all needed clinical information is available.
Results depend on the accuracy and relevance of your answers and measurements. Do not guess unknown values. Incorrect units, missing clinical context or older reports may change interpretation.
A favourable result does not establish that you are free from disease. A flagged result does not by itself establish a diagnosis. Discuss persistent concerns or symptoms with an appropriate clinician regardless of the quiz result.
A generated report or physician-signed interpretation reflects the information available at that time; it is not a promise about future health.
6. Programs and lifestyle coaching
Programs may include medical care and lifestyle coaching within the agreed service scope. Support is delivered by Dr. Govind Rathod or an authorised coach, with the provider’s role explained.
Coaching supports practical routines and follow-through. An authorised coach is not acting as a prescribing physician unless separately qualified and engaged in that clinical role. Questions requiring medical judgment are referred to the doctor.
Activities and goals should be suitable for your clinical circumstances. Raise new symptoms or difficulties through the appropriate care route; urgent concerns require urgent care rather than routine coaching contact.
Program participation does not imply continuous monitoring, unlimited consultations or emergency access.
7. Outcomes and professional responsibilities
Health outcomes vary with the individual, the clinical situation and other factors. No cure, disease reversal, fixed weight change, normalisation of a measurement or medication withdrawal is guaranteed.
Progress is evaluated against agreed goals and relevant measures. A lack of improvement may require reassessment, a revised plan or referral.
This disclaimer explains scope and limitations. It does not remove the doctor’s professional duties, excuse negligent or deficient care, or exclude rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Communication and timely care
Contact: contact@drgovindrathod.com
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. IST, excluding Gujarat public holidays.
Expected email response: Administrative enquiries: 12–48 hours; closures may extend this. Enrolled program/member support follows its separate stated arrangements.
Email is not an emergency channel. The administrative response estimate is separate from the weekday one-hour response arrangement for enrolled program participants and members; neither promises completed clinical assessment or resolution within that period.
Use the public contact channel for administrative questions. Submit reports or sensitive medical information through the designated clinical route provided for your service.
If your concern becomes urgent or your condition changes, obtain appropriate care rather than waiting for the normal communication process.
9. Related policies and consent

Clinical consent is obtained within the relevant care workflow. This page does not itself record consent to a consultation, treatment, information sharing or optional communications.
